Interesting to see the sleeve referring to 'mad junglists' in 1992..! Typically still known as rave and hardcore back then....Think Mikey B from Top Buzz was credited with starting the term Jungle (Tekno) but this must be one of the first records (if not THE first) referring to it.

Calm down boys you are all wrong the term Jungle was actually getting thrown around in 1990 well before 91, just one example is 2 Ruff who had Timecode Jungle (Jungle Juice Mix) in 1990.

What you on about bruv , we was calling our selfs junglists back in 91 , jungle was well and trully era by 1992 check out cmc - jungle fever from early 92 And ragga twins - the homelss problerm from late 91 , there was a reg nite in london called jungle in 91 , im sick of people thinking jungle amd the term jungle sudenly came about in late 93 , trust me ive been and have been using the term jungle and junglist from around summer 1991

Funnily enough. There are at least 3 previous releases referring to Jungle Techno. All from 1991, and all with similar names. Jungle Techno by Noise Factory on Ibiza Records. A label which is considered by many as kickstarting that sound. The second one a more obscure artist by the name of S.S.P. The third is a track called "Jungle Music" by Euphoreal (AKA DJ Coldcut) on The Jungle Tekno EP from way back in August 1991. References were being thrown about possibly even before the actual music was getting into its stride and being formed into what we know of it today.
