Monster Magnet - Mastermind mp3 flac
This would've been a great video to have the pipe for. Why? Its stoner rock's MONSTER MAGNET thats why! Their most recent effort is their first release o. .
This is my little tribute to the Bull God with the re arranged and doomy "Mastermind" from their last album "Cobras and fire" (2015), vidéo crédits to "Cool World" movie (1992) by Ralph Bakshi.
Mastermind is the eighth studio album by the American stoner rock band Monster Magnet. A video for the first single, Gods and Punks, was released on October 1, 2010. The album was released on October 25, 2010. The album debuted at No. 165 on the Billboard 200 selling around 3,000 copies becoming the band's first album since 2001's 'God Says No' to chart on the Billboard 200. Mastermind was also the final album of lead guitarist and long-term member, Ed Mundell.
What's more, Mastermind may be the band's doomiest album ever, as evidenced by the snail-paced stupor of LP opener "Hallucination Bomb" and numerous laid-back offerings thereafter, including the title track, the haunting "When the Planes Fall from the Sky," and the Doors-quoting "Time Machine
Later on in the album, we are once again treated to a slab of great hard rock songs back to back in the form of 100 Million Miles and Perish in Fire. 100 Million Miles is the more reserved of the two and starts out with a slow bass line before a punk like drum beat comes in. The chorus is elevated and loud and like dig that hole would go great as an arena rocker.

Great album, but instead of this get the COBRAS AND FIRE: MASTERMIND REDUX album they remixed/re-recorded a couple years later.
Monster Magnet is one of the coolest band names ever, hands down, don’t argue. As for the music they’ve produced, I’ve been back and forth on it over the years. I liked their first two albums with their over-the-top 70’s psychedelic, fuzzed out, space rock worship and I always thought Dopes to Infinity was their crowning achievement in terms of rock songwriting.

Album · 2010 · 12 Songs. Monster Magnet’s Dave Wyndorf is an old school stoner-doom-metal guy who loves his Stooges mixed with a little Hawkwind and a spritz of garage rock. His 1998 release Powertrip was a definitive hard-rock statement and Mastermind revisits its playbook with a few new harmonic twists. Hallucination Bomb trudges with a powerful grudge that’s matched by the whiplash riff that guides the title track. Dig That Hole channels Jim Morrison, who is further quoted in the psychedelic garage-rock of Time Machine. Monster Magnet know how to pull out all of the hard rock and punk moves they need to remain on top of the landfill. The Deluxe Version includes several notable cuts and a video for Gods and Punks.
