Black Moon is the eighth studio album, and the first in fourteen years, by progressive rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer, released in 1992. The track "Affairs of the Heart" originated in summer 1988 sessions by Lake with Geoff Downes under the project name Ride the Tiger.

Black Moon is a very brassy syth album with keith emerson exploring this voiceing for this album. This has worked very well. Greg Lake is a fine songwriter with his best songs yet on this album. He is a gorgeous singer, farewell to arms a fantastic song,Carl Palmer is so good at drums I am speechless at some of the things he plays. There you go three elements draw a fantastic supergroup that I ask any new fan of ELP get this album first. As a syth player and heavily into electronic music myself for years. ELP has created a modern classic.
