Complete your Rei Harakami collection. This is a such a special album. I don't know how he is able to pour such emotions into each song, especially with such simple hardware, but it's nothing short of stunning. It's beautiful from end to end, it's reserved and very relaxing. It isn't like it's one of those albums which sets out to be provocative, or overly emotive. It's just his style, and it feels completely natural
He released his debut album in 1998 on the Sublime Records label. His follow up albums,1999's 'O PAQ' and 'Red Curb' released in 2001 showcased his skills as an artist and producer. In 2005, his 4th album "lust" caught on quickly in many music scenes.
All rigth reserved to Rei Harakami and Rings. Back in 2007 I used a song from Rei Harakami for a film school project, then I send it to him on MySpace. He replied with a drawing that said "thanks for your video!". Apparently Rei Harakami had no problem. Now his music was also removed from this site. about 3 months ago. Korean movies OST. Rei Harakami - Lust full album (2005).
Tokyo electronica DJ Rei Harakami released his fourth album in 2005 - Lust. The sound is ambient techno here, filled with soft backbeats and easy keyboards. Harakami's goal is to envelop listeners in sound, and Lust keeps them awash in the stop-and-go sonics. With success in digital downloads and the club scene, Lust pushed Harakami to greater international exposure.
