Diamond Head are an English heavy metal band formed in 1976 in Stourbridge, England. The band is recognised as one of the leading members of the new wave of British heavy metal movement and is acknowledged by thrash metal bands such as Metallica and Megadeth as an important early influence. Two working class teenagers from Stourbridge created the band in 1976. Brian Tatler & Duncan Scott formed the band with a biscuit tin drum kit and borrowed guitar in Brian's bedroom.
Am I Evil is a compilation album by the heavy metal band Diamond Head and was released in 1987 by FM Revolver Records before being re-released by Heavy Metal Records in 1994. This album contains early recordings of the tracks from Diamond Head's 1982 Borrowed Time, except "Call Me", plus two extra tracks "Dead Reckoning" and "Sucking My Love". The latter was previously released on the band's 1980 debut Lightning to the Nations.

Diamond head - live at the BBC 1982 lp. Recorded live at the Reading Rock Festival, UK on 27th August 1982. Limited to 500 copies, black vinyl released in beautiful, laminated coverwith cool pictures of the band. Look no further than Belly of the Beast for a ripping signal of intent, the huge, catchy, crunchy riff coupled with Ras’ fiery vocals and married to a steam-engine old school tempo which will have headbangers gleefully reaching for their air guitars and aspirin.
March 23, 1981 - December 8, 1982. Paris Theatre, London, England. All but one of the 15 songs were recorded in concert for the BBC on December 8, 1982 (the one remaining track, a cover of Bob Dylan's "Maggie's Farm," was recorded on March 23, 1981 for a separate BBC broadcast). The Blues Band were, in limited respects, a big deal in Britain in this era: a blues-rock group with integrity and pedigree that had a reputation as an excellent live act.
