Cuttin the Boogie by Albert Ammons & Pete Johnson 1943.
This is a very good album if you like vintage, historical boogie woogie piano music. This sort of served as my bible when I was young and got me started collecting the original 78's. It's a nice blend of some of the most famous artists in boogie woogie and the restoration for it's day was very good. Before computers, the surface noise was effectively reduced or eliminated without really altering the sound quality accept for those early Paramounts as usual. Reply Notify me Helpful.
