This had the potential to be an AMAZING collection of 70's Supremes' music, but for some odd reason, most of the biggest hits included here are the mono versions! (Mine is a US copy with the cat #M7-904R1, not sure if this issue repeats on other editions)Mono tracks are: "Stoned Love", "Floy Joy", "Nathan Jones", "Up the Ladder to the Roof", and "Everybody's Got a Right to Love".My guess? While preparing this compilation, someone fetched the original masters of the single mixes of these songs instead of getting the original masters from the albums, and in the process they didn't bother to check if they were stereo or mono.Don't get me wrong... I *LOVE* mono mixes in most cases, but I find this particular choice to be quite a shame because the stereo versions of "Stoned Love", "Nathan Jones" and "Up the Ladder to the Roof" are really great! Wide open sounding and airy! (I haven't heard the stereo "Floy Joy" or "Everybody's Got a Right to Love", so I can't comment on those).Aside from this disappointing issue, it is a great collection of memorable songs! Definitely a welcome addition to my collection, but I'm glad I have the Stereo versions some of these songs elsewhere.
