Music from the Edge of Heaven is the third and final studio album from British pop duo Wham!. It was released on 1 July 1986 by Columbia Records. The album was only released in Japan and North America; in other territories, The Final was released instead. Both albums are related and have similar tracks, except The Final also contains all of the band's main singles and is more of a greatest hits album

The Final is more of a greatest hits compilation, while Music From the Edge of Heaven is more of a studio album, containing mostly music recorded for the album. Wham! Rap ‘86 (a remix of Wham! Rap (Enjoy What You Do?) ) is the only song to not also be repeated on The Final. Music From the Edge of Heaven reached Platinum level in the United States with over 1,000,000 sales. Music From The Edge Of Heaven. MP3 Download, 2 Aug 1986. This superb album was realeased as the american alternative to 'The Final' in 1986. Every track is a classic and if George and Andrew had recorded just a couple more songs at the time, this could have been a very respectable third album instead of being a compilation. Wham's last recordings are definitely their best. The singles on here speak for themselves. The other tracks worth getting it for are the awesome 'Battlestations' and the superb live vocal version of 'Blue (Armed with love)'
